Positive Behavior Support (PBS)

MHS Expectations

MHS promotes good behavior by recognizing students exhibiting positive behaviors in all areas of our school!

MHS students are expected to be:

  • Respectful

  • Responsible

  • Show Compassion

  • Use Self Control

Students are rewarded for good behavior in a variety of ways.  These rewards include specific praise as well as individual, class, and school-wide rewards.

  • Students exhibiting positive behavior can receive rewards from their classroom teacher.

  • Classes exhibiting appropriate lunchroom behavior can earn up to 3 mustang moolah each day. Classes are recognized on the morning show when they earn 15 mustang moolah in the cafeteria that week.

  • Students are rewarded for school attendance. Students will get to go to a monthly celebration for having no tardies or absences for that month!

  • Busses that have no referrals also earn rewards and get to go to a celebration each month!
