Book Character Parade

On October 31, 2017 at 8:30 am, we will be celebrating Reading, books, and book characters! Students are encouraged to dress up as a character from a book. Please remember that the costume should be creative and NOT COSTLY! Please start talking with your child now to assist with choosing the perfect book character. We ask that students refrain from wearing Halloween costumes.

Students are encouraged to make a small poster to go with their Book Character costume to share their character’s name and book with others. They can carry it or hang it around their neck.

The small poster should have the following information:

1) The name of the character they are dressed up as

2) The title of the book the character is from

3) A picture of the cover of the book and/or character

So, mark your calendars NOW! You are invited to be an honored guest at our Book Character Parade. It will take place at the car rider drop off/pick up area. Please feel free to call if you have any questions! Thank you in advance for your help on this special day for our students!

Happy Reading!
