Positive Behavior Support (PBS): MHS House System

MHS Expectations

MHS promotes good behavior by recognizing students exhibiting positive behaviors in all areas of our school!  MHS models the Ron Clark Academy House System.  All students and staff are placed in one of four houses:  Trua, Te"Ako, Quantum and Wajibu.  MHS holds "All House" meetings (entire student body) and House meetings monthly.

MHS students are expected to be:

  • Respectful

  • Responsible

  • Show Compassion

  • Use Self Control

Students can earn House tokens and/or points in a variety of ways:

  • Exhibiting positive behavior

  • Exhibiting appropriate lunchroom behavior

  • School attendance and no tardies

  • No discipline referrals each week

  • Participation in Academic Nights (Greatest House Participation)

MHS strives to create an enthusiastic, collaborative and family-oriented culture designed to bring out the best in our students.
