MHS was happy to welcome back former students who are graduating from WHS this year. Students lined the halls as the returning Seniors walked through the school. We were so excited these students wanted to come "home" and show us what they have accomplished.

Every month, Mr. A. Russell Hughes, the Superintendent of Walton County Schools will share a video message with an update on the exciting things happening in the Walton County School District, Walton County, Florida. Check back often to stay informed on all the activities, events and accomplishments of teachers and students in the Walton County School District.

This month Superintendent Hughes celebrates our graduating Seniors and shares the dates for the graduation activities. Mr. Hughes also recognizes the wonderful teachers and educational support professionals in our district as we approach Teacher Appreciation Week. He emphasizes the importance of remaining diligent, and finishing the school year out in EPIC fashion!

Walton Middle School would like to invite its incoming sixth graders (current fifth graders) and their parents to a "Middle School Jump" Title 1 Parent Training Night on Thursday, May 10th, at 6:00 p.m., in the WMS Cafeteria. At this event, students and parents will gain insights about how to have a successful middle school experience. A free meal will be provided, as well as childcare for preschool and elementary students. WMS can't wait to see new students and parents there!
