Applications are now available for parents who are considering enrolling their children in a school other than their zoned school. Florida Statue 1002.31 requires district school boards to adopt and implement a plan to allow a parent from any school in the state to enroll a child in a school of choice.

The Controlled Open Enrollment (COE) application window for the Walton County School District is from January 3 - March 13. Parents/Guardians must provide transportation to the COE school with available capacity. Parents/Guardians may obtain an application at any school, on the district website or through the district office. To view Walton County School District's Controlled Open Enrollment Plan and Application for Attendance or to see a complete list of schools and capacity of each, please visit www.walton.k12.fl.us and click on the Controlled Open Enrollment link.

On Saturday, January 20 from 9:30-11:30 a.m., we will be hosting a Parent Training at Mossy Head School. We will be providing you with helpful information about technology apps that are available, Focus (parent portal for grades), attendance tips and much more! Continental breakfast will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
