We "bee-lieve" in you!!

April 21, 2017

First graders created a motivational poster for 3-5 graders taking FSA. They drew bees and colored the message, "We "bee"lieve in you!," to encourage those students to do their best on FSA.
Students at Mossy Head School were visited by Deputy Kristin Pond and K9 Kayne from the Walton County Sheriff's Office to learn about her job as a K9 deputy. In class, the students read a book about a police officer and his K9.  The students were then able to compare and contrast the character in the book with Deputy Pond and Kayne.

Students in grades 2-5, who made the "A" or "A/B" honor roll for the third nine weeks, participated in a kickball game with faculty at Mossy Head School.  Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the friendly competition.

Congratulations to Mr. Q and Little Mrs. U on their beautiful marriage! Once upon a time, in Alphabet land, Mr. Q was without a sound of his own. Mr. Q met Little Miss U and their fairytale began; they learned they could make so many words together.

What a wonderful event! Mrs. Redfern’s kindergarten class prepared for the Q and U wedding! The students created fancy attire with crowns and top hats. The class decorated a wedding runner for the letters to walk down the aisle. Mr. Q and Little Miss U exchanged vows to promise to stand by each other in words like quarter and quack. At the reception, the students ate wedding cake and danced.
