As always, we are continuously looking into ways to improve our school. Hearing from you, the parent, is one of the most valuable opportunities we have in this process. We use an online school climate survey to collect your opinion and then use this information during the planning of our school improvement plan for the 2014-2015 school year. We would like for you to complete the school survey, which can be found at the following website :
If you do not have computer or internet access, there is a computer available for you to use in our parent resource room in the media center at MHS. We also have paper copies available in English and Spanish. The last day to submit the survey is May 16th.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey! We appreciate your support!

Mossy Head School's 1st Grade classes learned about bike safety during Bike Safety Week through a presentation provided by the Walton County Sherriff's Office. Students watched a video and learned important safety rules to follow when riding their bikes. Sherriff's Deputies provided students with a goody bag and a brand new bike helmet. Thank you WCSO!

The Calendar Committee would like to ask you to participate in a one question survey that is located on the WCSD webpage. It is the desire of the committee to create a calendar that best meets the needs of all students and we need your input to make this happen. We need to know your preference for early release days. The survey will be available until March 7th.

Cottages for Kids is a unique fundraising event in Rosemary Beach that benefits Children’s Volunteer Health Network, a faith based, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that seeks to enhance the lives of uninsured and underinsured children by facilitating free, immediate access to medical, dental, vision and mental health care. With tremendous imagination and craftsmanship, builders and architects come together to create, construct and decorate whimsical cottages that look like they have popped out from the pages of a fairytale to modern creations brimming with creativity.
Mossy Head School’s students are proud and excited to have this new addition to the playground. Thank you Cottages for Kids for your generosity!
