Cellist visits MHS

Thanks to the Rosemary Beach Foundationโ€™s Music in Pictures educational arts initiative, Dr. Steven Elisha, internationally acclaimed cellist, visited Mrs. Rojasโ€™ third grade class during music class on Wednesday, September 20.   Traveling with โ€œMr. Cello,โ€ Dr. Elisha used humor, storytelling, and performance to enamor his captive audience.  A professor at Georgia Southern University, Dr. Elisha has been playing the cello since age five.  Since then, he has shared his tremendous talent all around the world. MHS thanks the Rosemary Beach Foundation for making creative opportunities possible for our students.  Through the arts and academics, we equip Mustangs with the knowledge, creativity, and experiences they need to set sail for success.
