The Walton County School District, in coordination with Walton County Emergency Management and state weather officials, is closely monitoring weather conditions in the Gulf.
All Walton County School District campuses will be closed Thursday, October 8th, and Friday, October 9th, due to anticipated impacts from Isaias. This closure applies to all extracurricular activities such as athletic games, practices, and club meetings.
The safety of our students, staff, and families remains our highest priority. These closures will allow families time to prepare and follow guidance from Walton County Emergency Management.
We encourage families, staff, and community members to continue monitoring District social media channels and the WCSD website for updates as additional information becomes available.
